Gentlemen’s Club

December 4th, 2003

Mr. Collen Geoffrey Gibbs

Dear Sir or Madam:

It is with great melancholy that we, as an organization founded in the spirit of comradeship among peers, and holding the tenets of friendship and community above all else, find ourselves in this regrettable situation.

Mr. Gibbs, the situation we refer to is your continued dereliction in the discharging of your obligations in respect of this club. Specifically we are concerned with your continued absence from the duly convened and regular assembly of Gentlemen on Wednesday evenings. This behavior has been noted with disappointment and disapproval by the quorum of members present in your absence. In terms of the clubs constitution and the intent of the members such absences require written apology before the occurrence. Further such apology should be for a relevant and unavoidable reason; with this criteria in mind the methodology to be applied would be to sanction the offending member after three (3) continuous occurrences.

This club has taken a view, mitigated by your recent nuptials, that you are nevertheless in default. Lack of apology, a limited belief in the validity of your reasons for absence and no conciliatory gestures from your side have hardened the stance the members wish to take against you. Issues such as your current default in the yearly premium due to support our charitable donation to World Vision ® have been generously overlooked by the members. At this stage this letter serves to inform you of the current state of the members minds, and execute the secondary purpose of being a written warning.

Please allow us to express our grave concern at this current state of events, and offer you a chance to defend your case at the next meeting of the Gentlemen. Scheduled for the SECOND WEDNESDAY of JANUARY 2004. We respectfully request that you utilize this opportunity to figuratively offer the club an olive branch of reconciliation. You will find us most agreeable to the correct approach from yourself, as it is the clubs desire to welcome you as a full participating member.

Sincerely,

The Honorable Chairman

Mr. J Walsh
